Tokyo

  • Japan's capital is a bustling metropolis where the ancient meets the modern. Our hotel is close by to Tokyo tower and a JR station. Whilst in Tokyo we will visit a variety of places including the ones below.

Sensoji

  • A buddhist temple located in Asakusa. The street leading up to the temple is where you can buy traditional souvenirs as well as some great Japanese snacks and lollies.

Harajuku / Meiji shrine

  • Harajuku is the place that Tokyo's teens like to hang out. There are shops and fashion outlets galore as well as an array of fast food outlets. It is here you can find Snoopy town, Kiddy Land (toy store) and a very large 100 Yen shop.
  • Nearby is Meiji Shrine, dedicated to the Emperor Meiji. Although close by it is in a quiet area surrounded by trees and is quite the opposite of the bustling shopping area of Harajuku.
